Hi, I’m Max He—I live in Hangzhou Chengdu and write code by day.

Life comes first, code follows. By day I move between Java and Go, chasing clean APIs and systems that hold; by night I read a little literature, and on weekends I cycle and lift—letting sentences and days both slow down. This site is Organic: occasional insights from life, and a few lines of code worth keeping, left on a page that feels like paper grain.

Outside work I usually do three things:

• Read (literature, fantasy, and technical books)
• Cycle (commutes and weekends alike)
• Lift (not fiercely, but steadily)

I listen to a lot of rock and skip most festivals—headphones and a studio recording usually keep more of the texture.
